Tonight I'm making Kielbasa and Saurkraut. A traditional October meal that always tastes extra good on a cool fall evening accompanied by a cold German brew. I'm making it even though the AC is running and outside its in the 80s and as humid as the tropics!
I really do love Minnesota's quirky season transitions!
We spent last evening on the Avalon (paddleboat) on the St. Croix. It was an awesome night to dine and sip red wine on the upper deck. May make it an end of season tradition...of course, we can never be sure of the weather. Was great last night though...Although the colors have not peaked along the St. Croix yet. Maybe next weekend.
I'm getting ready to turn the heel (afterthought, my first!) on the Chevron sock I'm knitting....I'll post a picture of it next week...and I'll leave you with this sunset over Green Bay taken from Door County last July. Summer, it seems is not yet ready to go quietly into the good night....

Nice photo.
Afterthought heel is not as bad. It's actually fun.
