Shoalwater Shawl - unblocked
I finished the knitting and now it just needs to be blocked. The yarn is Noro Silk Garden Light. I only did 2 repeats of the pattern. I had enough yarn for about another half-repeat and maybe I should have used it all up but I stopped where they suggested to stop for the DK weight option. Its not nearly as big as I was hoping and its really light weight so its not going to be the winter warmer I was hoping it would be. However, the colors and the design are awesome and I think once its blocked it will be perfect for spring outings and for going to the movies with me in the summertime. :-)

That's so pretty. How many balls did you use? I've been eyeing some orange/green/yellow Silk Garden Light, but just need the right pattern to use.
I bought 8 I think and used a little more than 6. That's why I'm thinking I couldn't have done another full repeat. since you have to keep expanding the row as you go. It was fun to knit.
it's very pretty.... so do you like knitting shawls now?
I still like socks better...:-)
