I thought I'd drop some pictures of Dori in here since she's just too damn cute.
Meow What can I say....
In the knitting arena, I'm knitting a secret item for DD for Christmas....so no pictures here for now. But its black and the yarn is Touch Me..... :-)
Also, knitting Nutkins....4 repeats of the pattern finished so far. The yarn is Cherry Tree Hill - Foxy Lady colorway; knitting it on 2.5mm circulars (2 at once). I only have he cast on pix over on my Ravelry page so far, but the color is accurate. :-)
Looking for a sweater project - thinking about Butterfly (Knitscene Spring 2007). The sewing up part scares me a bit. If anyone out there has knit this please share your experiences with me!!!
Tuesday night - House is on and so is NCIS!!! I hate when they do that to me. Last night the 2nd episode (of the season) of Heroes was on and I'm still pondering if it jumped the shark or not. Its very confusing that the good guys are the bad guys an vice versa! So confused...
Other stuff I'm watching (while knitting) this season.... Fringe, True Blood, Lfe, Bones, ER, The Office, Stargate Atlantis. I'm interested in seeing Life on Mars when it premieres in October.

Nutkin - Great Beginning
My next knitting project is Nutkin by Knitzi in Cherry Tree Hill sockyarn, Foxy Lady colorway.
As you can see, I'm knitting both on 2 circulars, #1's. I'm also knitting from both ends of the ball...so far so good - no tangles. It can only get easier, right?
I've knitted the hemmed cuff and the first 10- row repeat of the pattern so far.
I LOVE the Cherry Tree Hill yarn...and I am expecting these to knit up a LOT faster than then Ruffle top socks since its not a K2P2 rib all the way dooooown..... :-)

Absorba I
Here's The Great Bathmat. Since this was a stash-busting project (and I made a dent in the stash!) I used what I had and mixed and matched colors to come up with this pattern. It was really random but wanted to at least contrast light and dark or bright and muted colors. It really brightens up the white bathroom!
