You've heard of a fish bowl, right?

Ok....here's a cat bowl! Well most of the time its a fruit bowl really, but Dori sits in absolutely anything she can get her furry little self into or on top of.

I haven't posted in a long, long time... Mostly because I left the dysfunctional job I had with that dysfunctional "BigTimeConsulting" company and I'm now working at HealthEast Care Systems. Which means I no longer have tons of time on my hands at work. And I'm loving my new position and the people I work with and the people I support at the HealthEast hospitals (Sts John and Joe, Bethesda and Woodwinds) and the 13 clinics.

I know I owe lots of pictures. I finished the Christmas stocking...mostly, and the Shawl (needs blocking) and I'm still working on the Traveler's Stockings and Pomatomous socks. Yes, I'm behind in my posting.

I did go with Anabel and Rina to 3 Kittens last Saturday, and bought 10 more skeins of sock yarn, none of it on sale of course. Didn't see anything on the porch that I really wanted and I seem to be drawn to sock yarn these days. That being said...I'm going to go knit!

Pictures to follow this week sometime...so check back around Saturday or so...

The Dogs

This is Xena. She's 9 and a half. She is a very good dog. Other dogs tend to make her nervous and then she becomes Cujo. She's also very good at letting visitors at our door know that she's on duty. :-) Grrr Ruff! You can also see Fluffy jonesing to be outside. Alas, the birds do not appreciate her presence and so she remains on the other side of the screen.

Here's Axel...2 years old and still a puppy at heart. All 95 lbs of him. He is also a very good dog. His hangup is squirrels. He would so like to be able to climb the big cottonwoods in the back and get their fuzzy butts.

The Cats

Fluffy

Midori...Dori for short

Piwacket...or Pi for short.

They are distinctly different in personality as well as color and shape. Fluffy and Pi will be 11 next spring and Dori will be 3. Hmm...geez time flies! All three came from Last Hope. Life is good for the kattens in my care. :-) And they all behave perfectly when I'm knitting.
