Axel doesn't care about the towel...he wants to know, "Where's dinner?" Posted by Picasa

Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille - pattern from the dish cloth boutique.  Posted by Picasa

V-Neck T - top down design from Knitting N Simple. The yarn was from the bargain loft at Depth of Field on the West Bank near the U of MN. Encore DK and it was only $2/skein! Posted by Picasa

Since I've never felted anything before (well, not on purpose) I was very excited to get started on this project. The pattern is from the November issue of Creative Knitting...the yarn is a gorgeous deep purple...although I have to figure out how to get my camera from canceling out the red tones... Posted by Picasa

New Arrivals from KnitPicks.com - 4 skeins of Hyacinth Wool of the Andes for the felted hat in Creative Knitting; 10 skeins of Cherry Shine for the Caliope Tank Top from KnitPicks; Essential sock yarn and the Sensational Knitted Socks book! Oh, and lots of KnitPick yarn samples.

Aran Poncho Posted by Picasa

Poncho is Finis!

I began on July 30th and finished on September 24th! I didn't think it would take quite that long but it was my first attempt at something Aran. And I had to drive back up to Amazing Threads on the 24th to get one last hank to finish the fringe because I ran out 1/2 way around!

Work continues on the Aran Poncho for my daughter and the question I'm asking myself...should I keep it for myself? Its very soft and very pretty...but she won't like it half as much as I do.
